About North Up Daily
North Up Daily is a free daily map puzzle. Each day you get a new map split into tiles — all rotated the wrong way. Spin them until north points up and the place looks right again.
How to play
Click or tap a tile to rotate it clockwise. Keyboard users can focus a tile and press Enter, Space, Arrow Right, or R for the same rotation. Solve as quickly as you can with as few moves as possible — hints and extra rotations lower your score. When you finish, add a nickname and try for the daily leaderboard.
Use How to play in the navigation for full controls, scoring, and hints.

Cookies and storage
We use browser storage that is necessary to run the game (puzzle progress, nickname, streak, and a random player id). This storage is not used for advertising.
With your consent, we also load Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to measure visits and page views, and record anonymous gameplay stats for daily puzzles (such as moves, time, and hints used) on our server.
